Wilkhahn 100 years+, Strandkorb aus glasfaserverstärktem Kunststoff von Walter Papst [06-22-2010] This type of chair is traditionally made of wicker, popular on the German coast and perfect for staying warm and dry. Walter Papst invented his own version of the "adjustable seat and lounger with weather-protecting hood" and filed it for patent in 1968. ![]() Desinger: Walter Papst Unfortunately two reasons prevented this innovative product from becoming a runaway success.
