| Wilkhahn makes a stand at CeBIT e-mode [03-02-2006] Internationally acclaimed office furniture manufacturer Wilkhahn is participating in e-mode, a special display at CeBIT 2006, and will be presenting innovative furnishing concepts for promoting communication and learning processes in the banking and financial services sector. The focus of the solutions on show will be on high-quality, time stable design, the integration of state-of-the art information and communication technology and on particularly space-saving and cost-saving management of communication spaces. German office furniture manufacturer Wilkhahn from Bad Münder is one of the internationally leading providers of furnishing solutions for high-quality conference and seminar environments. As early as ten years ago, Wilkhahn was the first company to set a new global standard for dynamic communication and learning processes with the Confair range. The list of users ranges from top industrial groups like Nike, VW or BMW, through high-calibre educational institutions such as the ETH Zurich to top financial services providers such as Dresdner Bank, Commerzbank or the World Bank in Tokyo.
For Wilkhahn, three key factors determine whether furniture and equipment do, in fact, promote human interaction and thus real learning processes:
With a view to optimal coordination of technology and furniture with users themselves, Wilkhahn founded foresee a year ago. This company specializes in the communication-promoting integration of technology in roomware elements. At e-mode, a special display that is taking place at CeBIT 2006 for the first time, Wilkhahn will therefore be showing the following in collaboration with foresee:
The Wilkhahn CeBIT performance is intended to make the boards of banks and financial services providers more aware of the interrelations between design issues and economic efficiency. Director Holger Jahnke points out that “the increasingly rapid change in business processes and offerings raises the promotion of learning and change processes in this respect to one of the central components of strategic corporate development”. The design quality of interiors creates opportunities for differentiation and increasing earnings, especially for companies providing immaterial products and services: “Interior design influences emotions. In turn, emotions are the real foundation of business for customers and employees. Our solutions combine these aspects with efficiency advantages and savings in space management.”
Holger Jahnke emphasizes that it is perfectly normal for Wilkhahn to be involved in the hall for banking and financial services systems. “Savings banks, banks and insurance companies our some of our key customers throughout the world. Wilkhahn ranges have continued to be convincing solutions there, in some cases for decades and as efficiently as when first acquired. We want to show that in spite of vast changes within the industry we will remain the right, groundbreaking furnishing partner in the future too.” CeBIT Hanover, 9 – 15 March 2006
